The call will be regulated according to the following rules:

I – PARTICIPANTS

The First MadBeach New Bands and Soloists Contest will be held under the following considerations to be fulfilled by all participants:

The minimum age to participate in the contest is 18 years and older.

Any band/artist from the national territory that is within the Pop-Rock styles may participate.

Creativity, musical innovation, live performance and the ability to communicate with the audience will be valued.

Groups that currently have a record contract in force with a multinational company will not be allowed to participate in the contest.

Any group that does not accept these rules will be eliminated from the contest.

II — REGISTRATION

Registration for the contest will be done via e-mail.

The demos must be sent to the address basilio@mad-beach.com in Mp3 format. Once this has been done, the organization will select 20 finalists (bands and/or soloists) from among all the proposals that will be validated to begin with the performance phase. In this way, the organization will make a first check to verify that all bands and soloists have completed the registration and select the 20 finalists who, at its discretion, must pass to the performance phase.

Songs with xenophobic, homophobic or any other type of content that infringes on the individual freedom of other people and groups will not be valid. The group or soloist who fails to comply will be eliminated.

The deadline for registration to the contest is until next Tuesday, July 13. In these concerts the organization will provide a drum kit and all the technical and human equipment necessary for the celebration of the concerts, except for the personal instrument of each performer.
